The sheer brutality of the violence in this film towards women victims and innocent bystanders is only matched by the cold calculated violence meted out to the cannibals, serial killers and hired killers by the lead character the avenging Korean secret service agent. Not to be treated lightly this film is very confronting not least of all because of the well written script and stellar acting by all the cast. The IMDB rating of 7.8 is very well deserved as this can only truly be described as an intelligently made film with violence rarely seen outside of classics like Rompa Stomper or Clockwork Orange and makes all US adult action movies look tame by comparison.
